Portrait Photography Masterclass Workshop with Oliver Hadji

Oliver Hadji is a renowned portrait and architectural photographer from Hamburg. He has worked for magazines such as Star, Der Spiegel, Tempo, Petra, Madame and Focus He creates commissioned works that impress with their clear, artistic visual language and technical precision.

In his master class “Portrait Photography” he provides a concise overview of his work and discusses selected works by other photographers, and then moves on to the practical portion of the workshop with a model. Step by step, the participants learn about lighting, working with the model, lens selection, and image composition. If there is enough time, the participants will have the opportunity to put what they’ve learned into practice on their own.

After a preliminary discussion, we’ll look for locations in the area around the Congress Center and the exhibition hall where we can showcase our model, taking the surroundings and lighting into account in our composition. At the end of the course, we’ll return to the classroom for a debriefing.

🎟 The workshop fee already includes a full weekend ticket for Imaging World 2026—including access to the photo expo, stage program, and Playgrounds.
