About Imaging World –
The photo fair in Nuremberg

Imaging World is the central event for photography, video and content creation in Germany. It was created to offer the industry a strong, contemporary platform again after the end of Photokina and PHOTOPIA – modern, practical and experience-oriented.

The focus of Imaging World is on active experience: Visitors can test the latest cameras, lenses and imaging technologies directly on site, take part in workshops, experience live shoots and exchange ideas with brands, experts and like-minded people. The trade fair combines technology, creativity and community in a unique way.

Imaging World is aimed at photographers, videographers, content creators, retailers and photo enthusiasts alike. Whether professional or ambitious user – it’s not just about products, but about inspiration, knowledge transfer and real encounters within the imaging industry.

A central element of the trade fair are the brand worlds and playgrounds, where exhibitors present their products in a practical way. The trade fair concept is complemented by a Center Stage with talks, panels and presentations as well as bookable workshops with experienced photographers and industry experts.

Imaging World is organized by RINGFOTO – Europe’s largest photo association. For decades, RINGFOTO has stood for expertise, quality and personal advice in the specialist photographic trade. With Imaging World, we are creating a trade fair that combines our experience with the requirements of a new generation of creatives – open, innovative and future-oriented.

The Imaging World will take place from 02 to 04 October 2026 at the Exhibition Center Nuremberg and continues to develop – with the aim of establishing itself as the leading photo fair in Germany.
