Daniel HeydtConcert photography"It was fucking awesome! Be there next time!"Hey, I’m Daniel. I’ve been photographing bands live on stage, in small venues and at big festivals for about ten years. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 13 and have been in several bands and on several stages myself. Music plays a central role in my life, so what could be more natural than photographing concerts?
I don’t work editorially, but for bands, labels, organizers and media partners.
My photographic focus is on portraits in a live context. You will rarely find pictures with several musicians. My aim is to capture the energy and emotion of the moment, to create memories and to say to those who couldn’t be there:
“It was fucking awesome! Be there next time!” -
