Reduced visual language, genuine feeling and strong black and white portraits – this workshop is all about the emotional impact of images in the style of Peter Lindbergh. Together with Guido Rottmann, you will learn how to create expressive portraits that focus on atmosphere, personality and authentic moments rather than perfection.

After an introduction to Peter Lindbergh’s visual language and working methods, you will go straight into practice. Together with the model, you will take photos at various locations on the exhibition grounds and immediately put what you have learned into practice.

By the end of the workshop, you will have developed a better feel for emotional image impact, lighting and authentic portrait photography – inspired by one of the most iconic visual languages in photography.
About Guido Rottmann
Guido Rottmann has been an established name on the photography scene for many years. He combines technical know-how with a keen sense of image composition and teaches photography in a practical, understandable and passionate way.
His focus is on creative image design and conscious work with light, perspective and mood. In his workshops, the focus is not on dry technique, but on creative vision, photographic understanding and the joy of photography.
With his calm and open manner, Guido creates an inspiring workshop atmosphere in which participants receive individual support and targeted encouragement.
