Photo walk architecture of the 50s and 60s Photo walk with Klaus Wohlmann

ausgebucht

Architectural photography is one of the classic disciplines of creative photography. It is here that the architect’s design ideas come together with those of the photographer.

At the Zollhaus park apartment complex, a housing development built between 1957 and 1966, we want to explore the architecture of the 1950s and 1960s through photography. The architect was Gerhard G. Dittrich of Nuremberg.

Here we find a self-contained complex with over 900 apartments that captivates with its architectural diversity and understated beauty. The synthesis of architecture, landscaping—featuring numerous green spaces—and art is impressive, and the complex has been a designated historic landmark since 1999.

In this setting, we’ll go on a journey of discovery, explore lines and contrasts, and find our subjects in everything from landscape architecture to small details.

The neighborhood is within easy walking distance of the convention center; depending on the situation, we might take the subway there together.

🎟 The price of the photo walk already includes the full weekend ticket for Imaging World 2026—including access to the photo expo, stage program, and playgrounds.
