About Olaf Schieche alias ZOLAQ

His repertoire includes breathtaking landscapes, urban scenarios, lost places and light painting photography. The photographer and artist began photographing and light painting in 2011. He has traveled to many countries and cities in his constant search for the perfect motifs, continuously developing and acquiring the skills that make up his pictures: Enthusiasm, perfection, vibrancy and, in addition to craftsmanship, an eye for the extraordinary! Since 2017, he has dedicated himself entirely to photographic art. His focus here is on light art photography. The Om System Ambassador uses light to create new sceneries and thus creates unique works in long exposures. Some of his pictures are on display and for sale in well-known furniture stores in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As a specialist in his field, he is a sought-after speaker at trade fairs and in specialist magazines and his workshops are a success throughout Germany – not least because of his open-minded and relaxed manner. At the end of 2019, he completed his first book on the subject of “Getting started with light painting” and successfully published it through dPunkt Verlag.
