Join Nicolas Alexander Otto on a special photo walk at the Dutzendteich in Nuremberg. In the early hours of the morning, we combine two exciting photographic disciplines: landscape and bird photography. The extensive park around the lake offers ideal conditions for atmospheric shots with calm water surfaces, possible early morning fog and a species-rich bird world.
We start in the blue hour – the phase before sunrise when the light is particularly soft. In this calm mood, we create intense images with a clear composition and balanced exposure. We then turn our attention to the local birdlife. Due to their proximity to the city, many species are accustomed to humans and provide natural motifs at close range.
The photo walk is suitable for both beginners and advanced photographers. Regardless of whether you are traveling with a DSLR, mirrorless camera or bridge camera – the decisive factor is the joy of nature photography and the willingness to consciously observe.
In addition to the on-site appointment, a joint online image review takes place some time later. Here we analyze the results of the morning, give feedback and develop photographic perspectives together.
