Then this compact workshop with coach Julia Schwegmann from Krolop & Gerst is just right for you. Here you will learn how to use your camera efficiently for video productions – without Hollywood ambitions, but with a real practical focus.
Contents of the workshop:
- Fundamentals of videography for photographers: You will develop an understanding of frame rates, shutters, exposure and everything that goes with it.
- Camera setup & sensible settings: You set up your camera optimally for filming – clearly, efficiently and tailored to you.
- Focus on efficient workflows: From shooting to simple editing – you will learn how to get a finished clip quickly and without detours.
- Use light & sound skillfully: You will learn how to ensure a good picture and clear sound with little effort.
- Practical exercises with realistic scenarios: You shoot your own short setups and immediately put what you have learned into practice.
- Tips for solo shooters: You will be given tools on how to achieve professional results even without a large team.
The aim of the workshop
After the workshop, you will be able to create simple but high-quality video clips on your own – whether for clients, social media or your own portfolio.

Julia Schwegmann trained at Krolop & Gerst and has over six years’ experience as a professional videographer and photographer. She combines creative work with sound technical knowledge – and shows you how to get the best out of your equipment. Clear, practical and easy to implement.
