In this workshop, the focus is not on technique, but on the creative process: How do you create expressive portraits that stand out from the crowd? How can light, perspective and emotions be used in a targeted way to realize your own photographic ideas?
Together, we work with different creative approaches – from the deliberate use of light and shadow to unusual compositions and exciting poses. The aim is to break out of familiar patterns and further develop your own photographic signature.
The workshop offers practical exercises, concrete instructions and impulses that open up new perspectives for both beginners and advanced photographers. The aim is to work creatively with simple means and to sharpen individual expression in portrait photography.
About Dennis Weissmantel
Dennis Weissmantel is a photographer from Mainz – specializing in business, brand and reportage photography. He makes people and brands visible: in politics, sport and medium-sized businesses. As a member of the international Headshot crew, he brings the highest portrait standards to Germany.
On the Imaging World stage, he will show how to create powerful images with a targeted look, posture and light that are more than just a good photo – they tell real stories.
