Analog black and white street photography and film development

Analog is back – and how!

Would you like to take a trip into the analog world and find out how to develop film yourself? Then you’ve come to the right place.

In this workshop you will combine black and white street photography with classic film processing in the lab. The course offers something for everyone – regardless of whether you are just starting out or are already an advanced analog photographer. Together we will start with a two-hour photo walk and discover exciting motifs from the world of street photography.

Our two instructors Jan and Chris will be at your side during the entire walk and answer your questions. They will show you what is important when it comes to the right exposure, the right camera settings and the choice of perspective so that you can create expressive images in urban spaces.

Of course, Jan and Chris will also give you lots of tips and tricks from their own photographic practice – so that you can recognize the decisive moment and capture unique snapshots with your analog camera.

You will then develop your exposed films together in a Jobo rotation – step by step and with personal guidance. Depending on the variety of motifs and material, this part takes about one to two hours.

Experience the complete analog process – from pressing the shutter release to the finished film roll.
