On the following pages you will find the General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) of Imaging World / RINGFOTO GmbH & Co KG, Benno-Strauß-Straße 39, 90763 Fürth (“RINGFOTO” or “we” / “us”). Further information and details about RINGFOTO GmbH & Co. KG and its legal representatives can be found in the “Imprint” section. The term “user” used below refers to all visitors to our events and RINGFOTO websites (in particular www.imagingworld.de). These General Terms and Conditions form the basis for visiting our events and using our Imaging World website and offers. You can also access, print, download and/or save these General Terms and Conditions at any time via the following link: General Terms and Conditions (link pdf).

Users of this website and our offers as well as visitors to our events are subject to these GTC, our privacy policy and all other terms and conditions applicable to our websites, offers and events. If you continue to browse our website, use our offers in any other form or attend our events, you expressly accept and agree to the GTC. Deviating general terms and conditions of users are not accepted and are hereby declared invalid. Deviations from these terms and conditions are only effective if they have been confirmed in writing by RINGFOTO.

BY REGISTERING FOR IMAGINGWORLD / RINGFOTO OR ACCESSING THE WEBSITES, THE USER AGREES TO THESE TERMS OF USE IN FULL AND ACCEPTS THEM IN THEIR CURRENT VERSION.

Scope of the GTC

The GTC apply to our websites, offers and registrations for our trade fairs and other events. In this respect, the websites and offers of RINGFOTO may not be used for purposes that violate laws or other regulations or that would violate these GTC. In particular, the websites and the associated networks may not be damaged, deactivated, overloaded or otherwise impaired.

Please note: The Websites do not constitute a solicitation to buy or sell any investment. No information contained on the Websites or made available at the Event should be considered in any way as financial, investment or other professional advice.

In any case, the user is responsible for his own internet costs associated with the use of the websites, including any costs for a mobile phone provider in the case of mobile use. Furthermore, the user has no claims or entitlements to constant, let alone consistently smooth availability of the websites and his registered account; in particular, under certain circumstances and for reasons for which we are not responsible, technical faults, loading times, server failures or maintenance work (etc.) may occur to the usual and reasonable extent.

Registration for events

Registration for Imaging World events is subject to the respective accreditation criteria defined by RINGFOTO.
Details (including the scope of services) and prices of ticket registrations can be found on the respective Imaging World websites, in particular(https://www.eventim-light.com/de/a/67b6e65fd246670e387ea1a2/e/67b85235d246670e387eb72b), and may vary depending on the ticket category. Users are obliged to provide the personal details required for registration and, where applicable, their company affiliation correctly and in full.

Online ticketing via eventim-light

Tickets for visitors to the Imaging World Messe 2025 are sold exclusively online via the eventim-light system of CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA, administration: Hohe Bleichen 11, 20354 Hamburg, phone: 0421 3666-0, e-mail: info@eventim.de
(hereinafter “Eventim”). Ticket purchases are subject to Eventim’s General Terms and Conditions, which can be viewed during the ordering process and must be accepted by the purchaser.

The processing of the order, the dispatch of the tickets and the payment processing are carried out exclusively by Eventim. RINGFOTO GmbH & Co KG is not the contractual partner of the purchaser in this context, but merely provides the event contingent via Eventim.

The purchaser agrees to the forwarding of his/her personal data required for ticket processing to Eventim. Further details can be found in Eventim’s privacy policy (available at www.eventim.de/help/datenschutz).

Cancellation or withdrawal from the ticket purchase is only possible in exceptional cases in accordance with the statutory regulations and the Eventim General Terms and Conditions. Tickets cannot be exchanged or returned.

Price and ticket offers are always subject to change. The ticket prices include the applicable statutory VAT. When ordering by credit card or PayPal, online tickets are paid for by external service providers. The return or refund of tickets is generally excluded, with the exception of the application of those consumer rights that are mandatory under German law.

Only in the event of an event being canceled will the face value of the ticket be refunded. Tickets for RINGFOTO events may not be resold without permission (if there is a resale or attempted resale of tickets for commercial purposes, RINGFOTO reserves the right to cancel the corresponding tickets with immediate effect and without refund) or otherwise transferred without the permission of RINGFOTO.

Tickets sold as part of a sponsorship package are valid exclusively for the company in question. Free tickets are only valid for this company.

The contents of the exhibitors, events, event information and speakers listed on the Imaging World website are of a provisional nature only and may therefore be further amended and supplemented by RINGFOTO without notice to the user.

Upon arrival at Imaging World, the user’s ticket will be scanned for admission at the main entrance to the event. Such a scan of the ticket is for analysis and security purposes only.

The distribution of materials and sale of products at Imaging World is strictly prohibited. Offenders will be immediately excluded from the respective event. Special permits must be agreed with RINGFOTO.

Video surveillance cameras (CCTV) may be in operation at any time during the events. RINGFOTO reserves the right to hand over CCTV tapes as evidence to the police or any other competent authority upon request. The content of such a videotape may be used as evidence in court.

RINGFOTO reserves the right to film/photograph or allow authorized filming/photography by third parties throughout the Events. The User is aware of and accepts this practice, including the possibility that the User may be filmed and/or photographed by Imaging World / RINGFOTO and/or such third parties during the Event, and the User grants Imaging World / RINGFOTO and/or such third parties the right to use such audiovisual/visual recordings for promotional purposes (e.g. exposés, trade show reports, etc.), including reproduction, distribution, public access, distribution, public dissemination, and use.The User grants Imaging World / RINGFOTO and/or such third parties the right to use such audiovisual recordings for the purpose of advertising (e.g. exposés, trade fair reports, etc.), including reproduction, distribution, making available to the public, performance, broadcast, transmission, retransmission, reproduction, editing and transformation by means of all digital and physical media, channels (e.g. social media) and formats (e.g. PDF, JPEG, interactive graphics, visual or audiovisual file formats, etc.), including (but not limited to) websites and platforms of all kinds, for both stationary and mobile devices.

The user undertakes to comply with the additional regulations of the respective operator of the event venue (Nürnberg Messe, Frankenhalle, Messezentrum 1, 90471 Nuremberg), which may be displayed on site for information purposes. Canvassing is not permitted. It is generally prohibited to bring animals onto the exhibition grounds (except for assistance dogs). In any case, a leash and muzzle are mandatory for dogs. In addition, RINGFOTO and/or the venue operator may, at their own discretion, deviate from this guideline in certain cases or for certain events and, in particular, require the fulfillment of certain conditions for exceptions.

RINGFOTO reserves the right to exclude or remove from Imaging World and the relevant venue any person who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions and/or the additional rules of the venue operator or who RINGFOTO reasonably believes to be in breach of the rules.

Newsletter

Subject to the user’s express consent, we will regularly send them our newsletter. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to obtain consent, i.e. we only send users our newsletters if they have confirmed their consent by clicking on the corresponding link in an email that we send them for these purposes. In the event that users no longer wish to receive our newsletters, they can object at any time by using the unsubscribe link embedded in one of our newsletters. Disclaimer

All RINGFOTO websites and offers are non-binding and subject to change. All information on our websites is subject to constant change and is routinely checked to ensure that it is up to date. However, RINGFOTO assumes no liability for the correctness, completeness, accuracy and timeliness of this information and data. RINGFOTO expressly reserves the right to change, delete or temporarily or permanently cease publication of all or parts of its websites and offers without prior notice. Furthermore, we are not liable for damages caused by force majeure, war, terrorist or natural disasters or other events for which we are not responsible (e.g. strikes, lockouts, power failures, traffic disruptions, pandemics, public orders, etc.). In addition, we shall only be liable in the event of a breach of a guarantee or material contractual obligation (the fulfillment of which is essential for the proper execution of the contract and on the observance of which the user regularly relies or may rely) and within the scope of mandatory statutory provisions (e.g. Product Liability Act). In addition, our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence as well as to damages resulting from injury to life, body or health. In the event of a slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations on our part, liability shall be limited to the amount of damage foreseeable (i.e. typically foreseeable) at the time of conclusion of the contract. Insofar as our liability is excluded or limited, this shall also apply to our employees, freelancers, representatives, vicarious agents and assistants.

In the event of an unexpected event, force majeure and/or act of God, RINGFOTO reserves the right to change the dates and times of any part of Imaging World, postpone or cancel the event. RINGFOTO shall not be liable for any expenses, losses or damages of any kind incurred as a result of any substitution, change, cancellation or postponement of Imaging World.

The user is solely responsible for taking out appropriate insurance cover in connection with his/her participation in Imaging World.

RINGFOTO and related content and software or other features or functionality related to the Event are provided “as is” and “as available” with all faults and without warranty beyond the minimum warranty required by law. RINGFOTO is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or redemption that occurs due to technical problems or traffic congestion online or on the Internet or on any website or combination thereof at Imaging World or RINGFOTO, including injury or damage to user’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from downloading or streaming any content in accordance with this agreement or subsequent use of RINGFOTO web content.

Privacy policy

Applicable law / place of performance and jurisdiction

These General Terms and Conditions are subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from these General Terms and Conditions or the use of the websites is Fürth / Bavaria if the contracting parties are merchants, legal entities under public law or special funds under public law or if at least one of the contracting parties has no general place of jurisdiction in the Federal Republic of Germany, or if the party relocates its domicile or place of residence outside the Federal Republic of Germany after conclusion of the contract or notification of these General Terms and Conditions or if its domicile or place of residence is unknown at the time the action is brought. RINGFOTO is also entitled, at its own discretion, to bring an action at the user’s general place of jurisdiction. The place of performance for all obligations arising from these terms and conditions is Fürth.

Final provisions

If any provision herein is unlawful, void or unenforceable in whole or in part, that specific provision shall be deemed severable from the remainder of the GTC and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. The provision thus declared invalid shall be replaced by a provision that comes closest to the economic interests of the parties.
