Landscape photography is more than technique – it is a conscious view of the world. This seminar is about not only capturing landscapes, but also interpreting them visually. What effect can a picture have? What role do composition, light and atmosphere play?
Together with Nicolas Alexander Otto, an approach to landscape photography is developed that combines theory, creative approaches and practical examples. The focus is on the targeted recognition of motifs, the structured composition of images and the development of an individual photographic signature. Cultural and visual patterns of perception also play a role, which will be traced and discussed using specific examples of images.
The seminar is aimed at anyone who would like to deepen or restructure their landscape photography – from committed beginners to experienced nature photographers. The aim is a reflective approach to composition and image effect, beyond purely documentary images.
About Nicolas Alexander Otto
Nicolas Alexander Otto’s works are created in the field of tension between nature and urban space, between seclusion and dynamism. With an eye for light and composition, he documents fleeting moments with great precision – whether by the sea, in the desert or in the mountains.
As a photographer, photo coach and author for various specialist magazines, he combines technical knowledge with a creative approach. He has received several international awards for his work. Nicolas regularly leads photo tours around the world – with the aim of creating visual havens of peace in a hectic world.
