Here’s how to get to the fair easily. Imaging World 2027 takes place from September 24 to 26, 2027 at Koelnmesse in Cologne and is easy to reach from all over Germany and many European countries. Whether you travel by car, train or plane – your way to the photo fair is quick, simple and well planned.

The exhibition grounds are centrally located in the Deutz district, directly opposite Cologne Cathedral, and are ideally connected to motorways, long-distance rail, local public transport and the airport. So you can start your visit to Imaging World relaxed.

Arrival by public transport
Köln Messe/Deutz station is right next to the exhibition grounds. Light rail lines 3 and 4 take you to the “Koelnmesse” stop, lines 1 and 9 to “Bahnhof Deutz/Messe”.

By car

Traveling by car? No problem – Cologne is excellently connected to the motorway network.

  • Fast access via the motorways around Cologne, including the A3, A4, A57 and A59
  • Signposted to Koelnmesse from all directions
  • Parking options around the exhibition grounds

By train

Traveling by train is especially convenient – the long-distance station is right next to the fair.

  • ICE and IC connections directly to Köln Messe/Deutz – only about a 3-minute walk to the South entrance
  • From Cologne Central Station, take the S-Bahn (S6, S11, S12, S19) to Köln Messe/Deutz in just a few minutes
  • Alternatively walk across the Hohenzollern Bridge (approx. 20 minutes)
  • Light rail lines 3 and 4 to “Koelnmesse”, lines 1 and 9 to “Bahnhof Deutz/Messe”

By plane

Cologne Bonn Airport offers fast connections from all over Germany and Europe. Düsseldorf and Frankfurt airports are also well connected by train.

  • From Cologne Bonn Airport by S19 or Regional Express to Köln Messe/Deutz: approx. 12 minutes
  • From Düsseldorf Airport by Regional Express to Köln Messe/Deutz: approx. 45 minutes
  • From Frankfurt Airport by ICE to Köln Messe/Deutz: under one hour

Taxis are also available at the main entrances of the fair – ideal for international visitors, exhibitors and speakers.
